How We Work
Simple, friendly and straightforward. You call, we listen, we come take a look, explain things clearly, and do the work right. Here's what each step looks like.
The four steps
Give us a call
Tell us what's going on. We'll ask a few easy questions and let you know what happens next.
We come take a look
We check the panel, the circuit and anything the weather may have touched.
We explain it simply
You'll hear what we found and your options in plain terms before any work begins.
We fix it and test it
Work to current code, permits handled where needed, and everything tested before we head out.
What we'll ask when you call
A minute on the phone saves time on site. Expect us to ask about:
- What you're seeing, and whether anything smells hot or has sparked
- Whether this started during or after a storm
- Which breaker tripped and whether it will reset
- Whether any water reached outlets, the panel or outdoor equipment
- Your address in Goose Creek or nearby
What we won't do
- Quote a fix before we've seen the problem
- Replace a breaker with a bigger one to stop it tripping
- Start work before you understand what it involves
- Skip the permit on work that requires one
- Leave without testing and tidying up
Why the assessment matters
Most electrical symptoms have more than one possible cause. A breaker that trips could be an overload, a short, a ground fault or a breaker that has simply worn out, and each needs a different fix. Guessing means swapping parts until something works, which costs you money and leaves the real cause in place. A careful assessment helps identify the appropriate repair, which is why every Reliable Electrician Network job starts with an assessment of the panel, the circuit and the wiring behind the symptom.
Permits and inspections
Permit and inspection requirements depend on the project and local authority. When discussing electrical work in Goose Creek, ask which approvals apply, who will obtain them and what documentation will be provided. Confirm these details before the work begins.
